Direwolf Industries

We Engineer Clarity Out of Complexity.

Pipeline integrity, regulatory compliance, and quantitative risk.

Direwolf Industries is an engineering firm serving the energy sector. We help operators understand where their risk actually sits, satisfy 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195, and keep assets in service. Engineering is led by a licensed Professional Engineer.

Regulation is complicated. Your position under it should not be.

Operators are handed thousands of pages of federal requirement and asked to prove compliance from records that live in six different places. Most consultants respond by producing more paper.

We build the instruments instead. Quantitative risk models that report expected annual loss per segment in dollars. A compliance database that tracks every recurring task against its due date. A complete library of program manuals ready to brand and issue. You end up knowing where you stand, not just what the rule says.

Three Ways We Work

Most firms in this field sell hours. We built tools first, which is why the same scope costs less and arrives with something you can keep.

Assessment

Quantitative Risk Assessment

Probabilistic risk models for hazardous liquid pipelines and for non-DOT facilities, built on the Muhlbauer framework. Risk is reported as expected annual cost per segment and per mile-year, so integrity spending can be weighed against the exposure it actually retires.

Ten threat categories, measured inspection data taking precedence over estimates, and dedicated treatments for stress corrosion cracking, crack and fatigue growth, maximum operating pressure validation, and transient surge screening.

Documents

A Complete Program Manual Library

Thirteen written programs covering operations and maintenance, damage prevention, public awareness, integrity management, corrosion control, control room and alarm management, direct assessment, pressure testing, operator qualification, and more.

We wrote them. We brand and adapt them to your operation. The usual alternative is paying a consultant to draft each one from a blank page.

Software

Compliance Tracking Database

A hosted system that tracks recurring regulatory tasks against their due dates. Annual surveys, right-of-way patrols, and every other interval requirement sit on one calendar. Clients log in, upload records, and can show an auditor the evidence without assembling it first.

Engineering That Carries a Signature

Technical direction sits with a Professional Engineer licensed in California, Utah, Nevada, and Washington. Analysis leaving this office carries personal professional accountability, not just a corporate letterhead.

That matters most in the work nobody sees until an audit: maximum operating pressure established against the governing constraint rather than the convenient one, remaining life calculated from measured wall loss, high consequence area determinations that hold up when questioned.
